Fulltone Ultimate Octave

The Fulltone Ultimate Octave delivers an explosive combination of thick fuzz and cutting octave-up harmonics. As soon as you switch it on, your sound transforms into a raw, harmonically rich wall of sustain that effortlessly cuts through any mix. From creamy vintage fuzz to aggressive, psychedelic leads – this is the kind of effect that makes riffs growl and solos scream.

At its core is a powerful fuzz engine that responds to your attack and volume knob. Play subtly and you get a warm, singing sustain; crank it up and it explodes into an aggressive, biting fuzz with enormous dynamics. Then engage the octave-up, and an explosion of overtones is created, working perfectly for screaming solos, Hendrix-like leads, and modern stoner-like riffs.

The Ultimate Octave features two independent footswitches. The first activates the fuzz itself, while the second adds the iconic octave-up for extra harmonic intensity. This allows you to use the pedal as a pure fuzz or as a complete octave-fuzz sound machine – like having two pedals in one.

The Fat/Bright switch completely reshapes the character of the fuzz. Fat Mode delivers a warm, full fuzz with strong mids and an almost vocal quality. Bright Mode scoops the mids and boosts both lows and highs, making solos extra sharp and present.

Despite its vintage roots, the Ultimate Octave is designed for modern pedalboards. The compact enclosure with top-mounted jacks saves space, while the true bypass switching keeps your original signal intact when the effect is off. Moreover, it runs on 9–18V, allowing you to choose between classic compression or extra headroom and punch.
