IK Multimedia ToneX Board

The TONEX Board brings the popular TONEX sound to a direct live workflow

The original IK Multimedia TONEX became a popular way to faithfully capture amplifier sounds and rigs and take them anywhere. The TONEX Board builds on this with a compact floorboard that makes this world directly playable on stage. Thanks to its 5-inch high-resolution color touchscreen and three workflow modes, Preset Mode, Scene Mode, and Stomp Mode, you can quickly switch between complete sounds, scenes, and individual effects.

The controls feel designed for musicians who want to maintain control while playing. Five encoders allow direct parameter adjustments, and four footswitches with LED indicators give you a clear overview. The stereo input accepts not only guitar and bass but also keyboards, synths, and grooveboxes. With the two independent stereo outputs, you can route cabinet and non-cabinet signals separately. The stereo FX Loop can be flexibly placed as a stereo send/return or as two independent mono loops.

For an extensive setup, there are 5-pin MIDI IN and OUT, two connections for expression pedals or external controllers, and a headphone output. Via USB-C, you can transfer presets and tone models and install firmware updates. The audio interface function will be added via a future firmware update. The TONEX Board measures 235 x 184 x 72 mm, weighs 1.6 kg, and comes with a USB-C cable and power supply. You also get access to TONEX Modeler, TONEX Software, TONEX Board Editor, TONEX 2.0, and AmpliTube 5 MAX, each as a standalone and plugin version.
