The ESP E-II Eclipse Black Natural Burst Full Thickness: Japanese Singlecut at its Best
The ESP E-II Eclipse Full Thickness is the thickest, most resonant version of the iconic Eclipse model. Crafted in ESP's own factory in Tokyo, Japan, this instrument is a statement of craftsmanship and tonal quality. The Black Natural Burst finish on the maple cap beautifully showcases the natural wood grain, while the prominent white binding gives it a classic, elegant look.
Tonally, the E-II Eclipse Full Thickness is a rich, full-bodied guitar. The EMG 66TW (neck) and EMG 57TW (bridge) active pickups offer coil splitting via push-pull controls on both pickups – from a warm, full humbucker sound to a bright, articulate single coil tone. The mahogany body with maple cap and set-thru construction delivers exceptional sustain and a warm, complex fundamental tone that fully utilizes the full thickness construction.
The mahogany neck features a fast Thin U-profile and an ebony fretboard with 22 extra jumbo frets and a bone nut for optimal tonal quality. Gotoh locking tuners and a Gotoh TOM bridge ensure excellent tuning stability. ESP straplocks and a hardshell case are included.
