The DGT Semi Hollow in Charcoal: Grissom's Tone with an Extra Chamber for More Air and Resonance

The PRS DGT was already an exceptional instrument. The Semi Hollow version adds a dimension that a solid instrument cannot offer: two chambers in the mahogany body that enhance natural resonance and give the tone more air. In Charcoal, it is also visually bold, dark, and understated all at once. This is the DGT for the guitarist who knows that sometimes less is more, as long as what's there is perfect.

The DGT humbuckers are specially voiced for balance and dynamic response, and in combination with the semi-hollow construction, they sound even more open and layered than in the solid version. They deliver a warm, vocal tone with a rich midrange that sounds exceptionally good both clean and with drive. The push/pull volume knobs activate coil-splitting, offering a wide range of single-coil sounds in addition to the already versatile humbucker palettes. The PRS Patented Tremolo Gen II is smooth and stable.

The maple top on the mahogany body gives the DGT Semi Hollow its characteristic balance of warmth and clarity. The mahogany neck with DGT profile plays comfortably and fast. The rosewood fretboard has 22 frets, 10" radius, 25" scale length, and Bird Inlays. PRS Phase III Locking Tuners with Faux Bone Buttons keep tuning stable and give the instrument a refined, classic look.
