The Gibson ES-335 Dot Sixties Cherry that has been setting the standard for the semi-hollow guitar for 65 years

When Gibson introduced the ES-335 in 1958, they invented a new type of guitar. The semi-hollow construction combined the warm resonance of an archtop with the feedback resistance and playability of a solidbody, and the result was an instrument that immediately found its way into the hands of the world's greatest guitarists. In Sixties Cherry, the ES-335 Dot is as relevant today as it was 65 years ago.

The Calibrated T-Type humbuckers are designed for the specific characteristics of the ES-335 body. The rhythm pickup in the neck is calibrated slightly warmer and fuller, while the lead pickup at the bridge is a little sharper and more defined. The result is a guitar that can handle everything from jazz to blues to rock, with a tone that has its own character both clean and overdriven. The hand-wired electronics guarantee maximum transparency.

The 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body gives the ES-335 its characteristic airy resonance, while the mahogany Rounded C neck with rosewood fretboard, Pearloid Dot inlays, and 22 frets on a 24.75" scale offers familiar playability. Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons and the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge provide stable tuning and intonation. Hardcase included.

The ES-335 Dot in Sixties Cherry is for those who want a semi-hollow guitar that needs no introduction and never compromises.
