Not every piece of Indian Rosewood is the same. The back and sides of this Martin Custom Shop OOO 14-Fret have been selected for exceptionally wild grain: a wood pattern that makes each instrument unique and is rarely found on standard models. Combined with a solid Sitka Spruce top and a Scalloped X-Brace construction, this results in an OOO guitar with a warm, balanced tone that excels in fingerpicking and subtle chord playing. The thin finish allows the wood to breathe freely and contributes to the direct, open resonance.

The black ebony fingerboard with 20 frets, Diamonds and Squares Long inlays and a Style 28 Boltaron rosette give this instrument a classic, refined look. The Modified Low Oval neck shape in selected hardwood with a satin finish sits comfortably in the hand for long playing sessions. The dovetail neck joint with mahogany blocks ensures a stable, direct connection between the neck and body. The Modern Belly bridge and Grover Nickel Vintage Button tuners complete an instrument that has been carefully assembled in every detail.
