Limited Edition 30 pieces, Fab Gear Exclusive.

Vintage gets a new look in this Fab Gear exclusive, limited edition of only 30 pieces. With its striking Candy Apple Green finish, this bass is a real eye-catcher. Fab Gear collaborated with Rickenbacker during the Winter NAMM show to design this model. They opted for several special vintage details, such as checkerboard binding, vintage knobs, a classic nameplate, and a vintage toaster pickup in the neck position.

The Rickenbacker 4003 is known for its long sustain, bright high-end attack, and a solid bass foundation. It also immediately stands out with its iconic, elegantly shaped body, finished with subtle binding and the recognizable triangular fretboard inlays. The bass also features a stereo output, neck-through-body construction, dual truss rods, and powerful single-coil pickups with a wide tonal range and great clarity.

The Vintage Tone Selector adds extra character to the sound. This engages a capacitor in the bridge pickup circuit to emphasize the high end. When the knob is pushed in, you get the familiar 4003 sound, and when you pull it out, the sound becomes sharper and gains more bite and clarity.
