The Sandberg Forty Eight: a German workhorse that never needs to ask for attention
The Sandberg Forty Eight is a bass guitar that does exactly what a good bass should do: respond directly, play comfortably, and sound convincing in any situation. Sandberg has been known for its excellent German build quality for years, and the Forty Eight is a prime example of this. The Alder body gives this instrument a balanced, full tone with a warm low-end and clear mids that effortlessly cut through any mix.
The ebony fingerboard is one of the most striking features of the Forty Eight. Ebony is known for its hard, dense structure, which provides a fast, clear attack and a tight, defined response. Combined with the Canadian Hard Rock Maple neck, 6-bolt attached for maximum stability, this bass plays incredibly fast and precisely. The 14" radius and 22 frets give you a comfortable playing experience across the entire range of the fretboard.
The electronics offer an active/passive system via a push-pull volume potentiometer, complemented by a balance control and a 2-band EQ for treble and bass. This way, you always have the right tone at hand, whether you want to sound warm and round or tight and punchy. The black hardware and sleek finish give the Forty Eight a timeless, professional look. Delivered including gig bag.
A bass that will last you for years and sounds better every night.
