The PCH2-OM is one of the most reliable entry-level models in the Eastman range, and the BK version adds a distinctive black finish that immediately stands out. It features the same solid Sitka spruce top that gives the PCH2 series its name, the same X-brace construction, and the same OM size that works equally well for fingerpicking and strumming. Only the color is different.
The sound is open and balanced, with clear highs and a full bass that you wouldn't expect at this price point. The laminated rosewood back and sides add warmth without overshadowing the clarity of the solid spruce top. The okoume neck with rosewood fretboard, Traditional Even C-profile, 20 frets, and 24.9" scale length feels comfortable in the hand and plays well right away. Pingwell tuning machines and a rosewood bridge complete the package.
