By stripping the design back to its essence—no carved maple top, binding, extra pickups, or unnecessary embellishments—a pure, unfiltered rock guitar was created, featuring a slab mahogany body and a single pickup.

What began as a “student model” quickly became a favorite among guitarists of all levels, including countless professionals. The Les Paul Junior found its way onto recordings and stages worldwide and was played by icons such as Leslie West, Martin Barre, John Lennon, Johnny Thunders, Billie Joe Armstrong , and Steve Howe . The Junior’s power lies in its simplicity: with one pickup, one volume knob, and one tone knob, a surprisingly wide palette of sounds is possible—purely through dynamics, touch, and feel.

The guitar features a single-cutaway slab mahogany body and a mahogany neck with a comfortable 50s Vintage profile that fits securely in the hand. The rosewood fingerboard is finished with simple pearloid dot inlays , perfectly in keeping with the minimalist character of this model.

The headstock features Epiphone Deluxe tuners with ivory buttons and a Graph Tech® nut for reliable tuning stability.
