Together with Gibson, we have joined forces for a unique selection of Murphy Lab guitars that are exclusively available at Dijkmans Guitars. And we're kicking off with the holy grail: the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard. Together with Tom Fowle from Gibson, we personally selected each top and matched it with the most beautiful finishes. For this model, the choice fell on a beautiful Green Lemon Fade, a subtle tribute to Peter Green's legendary "Greeny".

The tone of a '59 Les Paul is the reference point for everything that came after it. Warm, open, and full of harmonic richness, with a dynamic that responds to every nuance of your touch. The two Custombucker Alnico 3 humbuckers, unpotted and tuned to PAF specifications, deliver exactly that sound. The handpicked 2-piece figured maple top on a 1-piece lightweight mahogany body gives the guitar that characteristic resonance and sustain that make the '59 so beloved. The Murphy Lab Light Aged treatment ensures the right amount of patina and character.

Specs: Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape neck, Indian Rosewood fretboard with cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays, ABR-1 bridge, Kluson Single Line/Single Ring tuners, Murphy Lab Heavy Aged nickel hardware, and paper-in-oil capacitors. Delivered in an Aged Brown/Pink Lifton Reissue 5-latch case.
