Gibson SJ-200 Standard Vintage Sunburst 2010
The Gibson SJ-200 is arguably the most famous acoustic guitar in the world, and it bears the nickname “King of the Flat-Tops” for good reason. Since its introduction in 1937, this iconic Super Jumbo model has found its way onto countless stages and into numerous studios. With its impressive size, rich sound, and luxurious finish, the SJ-200 is a true classic within the Gibson lineup.
This 2010 SJ-200 Standard features the beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish and is in very good condition. The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top with flamed maple back and sides provides a powerful, open sound with plenty of headroom, clarity, and a strong bass. Thanks to its large Super Jumbo body size, this guitar has an impressive volume and a broad, rich projection.
The guitar is equipped with the characteristic SJ-200 moustache bridge, a richly adorned flower pickguard, gold hardware, and Grover Rotomatic tuners. The maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays plays comfortably and gives the guitar its luxurious appearance.
In short: a beautiful and iconic Gibson acoustic guitar with a grand sound and an instantly recognizable appearance.
