The Origin Effects DCX Bass is inspired by the legendary UA 610 console preamp, the tube preamp that forms the basis of countless iconic recordings in the history of pop music. Origin Effects has translated the characteristic warmth, subtle compression, and harmonic richness of the UA 610 into a compact pedal that can be used directly on any pedalboard.
The sound of the DCX Bass is warm, detailed, and full of character. The Mode switch gives you the choice between different preamp characters, while the L.F. and H.F. knobs allow you to boost or cut the low and high frequencies independently. The Drive knob determines the intensity of the tube-like harmonic enrichment.
The DCX Bass features Level, Drive, Mode, L.F., Voice, and H.F. knobs. Connections via Input, Output, and 9V DC In. Compact, robust, and immediately usable on any pedalboard.
