A prime example of this is this '96 Drop Top; what a stunner that Master Grade Quilted Maple Top is! This top comes from the same piece of wood as this Macon, and just like with that guitar, we were speechless when the case opened. The depth and width of the figure in the wood are simply astonishing! And we haven't even talked about the Roasted Ash body and the Roasted Maple neck yet! This combination not only looks fantastic, but thanks to the lack of moisture in the wood, the guitar is extremely stable, with direct, honest tonal projection. Tonally, this '96 is incredibly versatile thanks to the flexible HSS pickup configuration. The Humbucker in the bridge position has just a little extra output, making this Eggle extremely suitable for heavier music styles.
