PRS SE Zach Myers Elderberry Burst 2026

The PRS SE Zach Myers gives solid rock riffs room to breathe

A rock guitar with a convincing punch doesn't have to be solid-body. The PRS SE Zach Myers Elderberry Burst 2026 combines the familiar feel of an electric guitar with the vibrant resonance of a semi-hollow construction. The chambered mahogany body, maple top, and flamed maple veneer form the foundation, with a single f-hole as a recognizable detail. This signature model from the Shinedown guitarist isn't just about looks: it is precisely the combination of a resonant body and a satin-finished neck that makes it interesting for players who value responsiveness and playing comfort.

The PRS 245 “S” humbuckers bring together a solid low end, clear highs, and a pleasantly sweet edge. This makes this PRS SE feel right at home with full chords, pronounced rock riffs, and singing leads, without having to sacrifice definition in clean passages. The smooth midrange and the open resonance of the body give notes space. With its own volume and tone control for each pickup, you can tune both elements separately and tailor the middle position to your liking. This allows you to switch between rhythm work and melodic parts without constantly using the same tonal color.

The mahogany neck has a Wide Fat profile and features a rosewood fretboard with the recognizable Birds inlays and 22 frets. The 24.594-inch scale length and 10-inch radius form a pleasant base for chord playing and bends. A PRS Adjustable Stoptail bridge offers adjustment options for intonation, while vintage-style tuners match the character of the model. The three-way switch keeps pickup selection clear; the individual controls then give you all the room to refine your sound.
