The Suhr Classic S Sonic Blue is a guitar you immediately recognize and want to play. The Sonic Blue finish in nitrocellulose lacquer on the Alder body has a fresh, bright look that immediately references the best S-types from the sixties, and the Maple neck with Indian Rosewood fretboard gives the instrument a warm, familiar playing experience. This is a guitar that looks good and sounds even better.

The Indian Rosewood fretboard with a 60's C Vintage Standard profile (.810"-.930") plays familiarly and comfortably, with 22 medium Stainless Steel frets, dot inlays, and a 9"-12" compound radius. Three V60LP single coils via a 5-way switch with volume and tone, complemented by the SSCII noise-canceling system for a hum-free signal. Gotoh 510 bridge with steel block, Suhr locking tuners, weight 3.62 kg, scale 25.5", gig bag included.

The V60LP single coils are vintage-voiced but modernly reliable, with an open, dynamic tone that responds to every nuance in your touch. In the neck position, they sound warm and full, in the middle glassy and bright, and at the bridge with just enough bite for a convincing bridge position.
