Brand new Taylor 417e with solid rosewood and Grand Pacific Body Shape!

With the 417e-R, Taylor brings the famous Grand Pacific body shape to the 4-series. The result is a very exciting guitar that really has its own signature. First of all, the 417e-R has a solid spruce top, which in combination with the East Indian Rosewood sides and back produces that characteristic Taylor-Sparkel. Where it really gets interesting is the body shape; the Grand Pacific body shape is best described as a Dreadnought with a rounded shoulder. This in combination with the chosen types of wood means that the basses in particular flow beautifully into a beautiful, balanced "package". The basses are therefore not as deep as you initially expect; the focus is more on the low-mid range for a more vintage-inspired experience. Fortunately, thanks to the innovative V-Class bracing, you don't compromise on sustain.
